AHC works diligently with local, state and federal government to advocate for halal. Through our advocacy committee we managed few milestone steps in order to advocate for this cause.

How We Do IT

  • We hold regular meetings with government agencies to review halal policies and share concerns about the state of the halal market in the U.S.

  • We created an advisory board with members who served with the USDA, U.S. Trade offices, and diplomatic missions to advance our mission

  • We keep track of halal policies in eleven states and work to introduce similar policies in other states

  • We created a committee to engage and introduce more halal bills
